Continuing Our Commitment to Safety: ISO 45001 Recertification
Turnhout facility renews ISO 45001:2018, reinforcing our commitment to safety in tape manufacturing.
At our Turnhout, Belgium site, safety isn’t a standalone initiative. It’s embedded in how we design, manufacture, and deliver pressure-sensitive adhesive solutions to the automotive and general industrial markets.
We’re proud to share that our Turnhout facility has once again renewed its ISO 45001:2018 certification for occupational health and safety management (Certificate No: OHS 655710). This milestone reflects more than two decades of continuous certification, and more importantly, a long-term commitment to protecting the people behind our products.
But this certification is more than a regulatory checkpoint. It confirms that our operations are guided by a structured, forward-looking safety system, one that supports both our workforce and the consistent quality our customers expect.
The audit validated key aspects of our safety culture:
Teams across functions operate with shared accountability for health and safety.
Everyone, from operators to leadership, knows their role in preventing risks.
We foster an open environment where feedback and concerns are acted on.
Digital and physical tools support safe behavior at every step of the process.
The certification covers the complete design and manufacture of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes under IAF sector 14. That means every process, from raw material handling to final product delivery, is aligned with internationally recognized safety standards.
For our customers, this translates to reliability. A safer workplace reduces disruptions, supports continuity, and reinforces the integrity of everything we produce. Whether we're helping to dampen vibration in a vehicle interior or streamline bonding in industrial assembly, our solutions are made in facilities where safety and quality go hand in hand.
At Avery Dennison Performance Tapes, we don’t view safety as a destination. It’s an ongoing effort. A shared discipline. A core part of how we build trust, with our teams and with the industries we serve.
