The protection of batteries is paramount to the proper functioning of electric vehicles, and that includes creating a tight seal for components in EV battery assemblies.

Before the electric vehicle battery box is mounted in the vehicle, its lid must be sealed tight to prevent moisture and dirt from entering. The seal also serves to prevent flames from lithium-ion cells from escaping.
