Video: Brake Shim Adhesives: Engineered to Reduce Noise, Vibration and Harshness

As a recognized market leader with over twenty years of experience as an NVH solutions provider for brake applications, Avery Dennison has developed the next generation adhesive for brake shim applications for Electronic Parking Brake systems. Our brake shim damping solutions help reduce the squeak and chatter associated with vibrating components. Our new Electronic Parking Brake - EPB - adhesive offers resistance to adhesive bleed at high temperatures less than 200˚C/ 392˚F and at high pressure of less than 200 bars. Our EPB adhesive provides optimum damping at high temperatures 100˚C/ 212˚F, and offers very high temperature resistance, T-pull and shear strength. We offer SAFT performance suited for brake shim applications with short bonding times to brake pads.
