Avery Dennison electrode fixing tape solutions — offered with polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polypropylene (PP) plastic facestocks — are easily visible, compatible with battery materials, and do not contribute to unintentional self-discharge.

ES 1280 is a single coated tape featuring a 1.0 ml clear biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) with green pigmented acrylic adhesive. The adhesive provides electrolyte resistance/compatibility. This product is intended for electrode fixing in batteries by wrapping around the separator film and back onto itself.

ES 1281 is a 1 mil clear polyester single coated tape with a highly transparent film that features excellent tear strength, heat resistance, dimensional stability and chemical resistance. The tape’s adhesive is a green pigmented acrylic with electrolyte resistance/compatibility. This product is intended for electrode fixing in batteries by wrapping around the separator film and back onto itself.
