Buzz, Squeak and Rattle (BSR)

Vehicle interiors contain many combinations of materials. Whether it’s hard plastics, metals or soft trim covered with leather or textiles, these components are subject to movement, shock and vibration which can produce unwanted noise. Avery Dennison offers finished tape products designed to help vehicle engineers solve buzz, squeak and rattle issues throughout a vehicle.

Our range of adhesive technologies is also used by specialist BSR engineers. Flock and felt tapes have become a go-to solution, and Avery Dennison provides a range of high performance adhesive solutions for these – solutions which meet OEM and low emissions/VOC standards.

Quin is passionate about technical building applications since he designed and built his family home back in 2012. Professionally, Quin held several positions as Product Manager responsible for the product life cycle of many technical applications related to the building environment, namely in Adhesives, Lighting and Plastics. He joined Performance Tapes Europe as a market segment manager for tape applications in the construction and industrial markets where he teams up with customers and R&D to achieve tape solutions that improve the installation performance and sustainability of buildings and related products and processes.
